A wonderfully charming cafe in Aberdeen that is equally celebrated for its breakfast, brunch and lunches and desserts.
We are encouraged to try both the All Day breakfast and the scones. The signature Big Een, consists of two rashes of bacon, two sausages, black pudding, haggis, egg, tomato, beans on toast (£10.95).
Staff are friendly, chatty and welcoming and the dining area clean and fresh. Takeaway options and vegetarian & vegan items available.

Sweet Momma’s Kitchen
Arch 11, Palmerston Road, Aberdeen
The recent winner at the Best of Aberdeen Scottish Cafe Awards, Sweet Momma’s Kitchen is a delightful wee Coffee shop based near Aberdeen station.
This highly instagrammable business, really knows their stuff. Don’t be fooled by the sweet quirky appearance – these guys know their food! The highland burrito is a must to try (Black Pudding, Scrambled Egg, Haggis, sausage and bacon served in a Burrito, with a Hash Brown side) as is The Spicy One (Chorizo Hash, with Sour dough Toast and Fried Egg). Vegan options available.
Staff are efficient and friendly – dogs also welcome. Described by customers as a superb and cracking place to enjoy breakfast in Aberdeen.
Open 6 days per week from 9am (8.30am Friday and 10am Saturday, Closed Sundays)

A charming cafe renowned for its breakfast and fine quality coffee in the Mannofield area of Aberdeen.
With friendly staff that always deliver excellent customer service and homemade meals and cakes, this is an Aberdeen breakfast not to miss.
Regular offers and themed menu items available along with Gluten free options. A varied menu with a choice of scrambled eggs, poached eggs and breakfast croissants.
Family & dog friendly and incredible value for money.

A vegan paradise in the heart of Aberdeen, priding itself on serving fresh, free-from & guilt free truly nutritional snacks and bites. Diabetes friendly options available.
You don’t need to be vegan to fall in love with the beautifully presented and healthy BioCafe Goodness Bowls.
And don’t get me started on the phenomenal waffle menu! This is a breakfast cafe that everyone should try.

An award winning cafe based within Westhill Community Church building, this is a real community cafe based near the centre of Aberdeen.
A lovely range of breakfast items on the menu with children’s options also available. The Breakfast Rolls and Pancakes come highly recommended at this Aberdeen cafe.
With excellent service and hot, freshly cooked food, family friendly cafe is a wonderful way to start your day.

The Holburn Bar

Part of the Green King chain, The Holburn Bar is a traditional pub with a wonderful breakfast offering.
The generous breakfast portions are legendary as is the hot, fresh food. Great value for money at £9.49 for the Full Scottish Breakfast which will keep you full for the rest of the day.
The menu has several breakfast choices with vegetarian and vegan options available.
For a no nonsense feed at breakfast time, this could be the choice for you.
